1. Why does European documentation help?

Morocco has close trade ties with the EU. Vehicles with European-compatible type approval or homologation documents are easier to register than those with only Chinese certification.

2. What is the 5-year rule?

The vehicle must have been first registered less than 5 years before the import date. The registration date on the Chinese title document is used.

3. Is there a BEV incentive?

Morocco is developing EV incentives, but as of mid-2026 there is no blanket BEV duty exemption. Verify current rates at shipment time.
